However, VIM can be used to access older Notes databases on older systems, and one of the frequent uses in the Notes 3 and Notes 54 era was to use VIM to make "Non-password dialog"-applications. You could use VIM to open a session with a supplied password, something the Notes C API never has allowed, and then hand over the control to the Notes C API. Voila, no password dialog!

As stated elsewhere in this course; No further testing with VIM has been conducted after Notes R5!
